God tells us to joy in our trials! We are also told that Christ was able to set aside the weight, even to the point of suffering an extremely painful death on the stake, for the joy of inheriting God’s kingdom. Is everlasting life and pleasures forever along with the glory that shall be revealed in us, a comparable reward for the trials, temptations and sufferings we experience in this Christian life?
